This painting is part of my ongoing tribute to L’Hermione, the historic frigate that carried the Marquis de Lafayette to America in 1780. Created with my natural pigments, they reflect both the spirit of exploration and the enduring cultural dialogue between France and the United States.
I donated these works to the Consulate General of France in San Francisco to support the restoration of L’Hermione. Their auction contributes directly to the preservation of this symbol of shared history, liberty, and friendship across the Atlantic.
